How does it work?

Platelet-Rich Fibrin is the liquid portion of blood that are rich in platelets and growth factors, both of which play a vital role in tissue repair, cell growth, and collagen production. This procedure harnesses the natural healing properties of PRF to enhance hair follicle health and stimulate hair growth.




 



Procedure

The process begins with drawing a small amount of blood from the patient. The sample is then processed in a centrifuge to isolate platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) which is then directly injected into the scalp regions with thinning hair, where it can stimulate natural healthier hair growth.

Aftercare

PRF therapy for hair is generally considered minimally invasive, and most people can resume their normal activities shortly after the procedure. Some mild swelling or redness at the injection sites may occur, but this usually subsides within a day or two.

Results

The number of PRF sessions required and the duration of the effects varies based on the severity of hair loss and the individual’s response to treatment. For most, we recommend 4 to 6 treatments about 4 weeks apart. Results are typically seen in a few weeks and with each treatment continue to improve throughout the year.
