How does it work?

With animation, such as talking or smiling, the muscles around the lips can cause them to curl inward and appear thinner. A small amount of Botox can be injected into the muscles at the edge of the lips, causing them to relax. This allows the lip to “flip” slightly upward and appear fuller without adding volume.

Procedure

After numbing with topical anesthetic cream, a small amount of botox is injected into the treatment area. The procedure takes less than a minute to complete.

Aftercare

There may be slight swelling or redness at the injection site, but this typically resolves within 30 minutes. There is no downtime or recovery, it can be combined with other procedures and is a great enhancement to lip filler treatment.

Results

You will begin to see effect within 3-5 days, with most results appearing within 1 week. Duration of effect is approiximately 2 months.
