Dermal fillers are cosmetic injectables used to restore volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. The procedure is minimally invasive, with little to no downtime, allowing you to achieve natural-looking results and resume your daily activities immediately after the treatment.

Procedure

Facial assessment and consultation are done first to determine treatment areas and formulation of dermal filler. The needle utilized to administer the filler is very thin so a majority of patients find the injections very tolerable since they consist of lidocaine to aid in pain relief. Treatment areas can also be numbed with ice and anesthetic cream as needed for added comfort. The procedure typically takes no longer than 15-30 minutes.

Aftercare

Immediately following your treatment, you may return to your normal activities and wait 1-2 days before engaging in strenuous physical activity. There may be slight swelling or redness at the injection site, but this typically resolves within a day or two. Mild bruising may occur depending on the treatment area, but this can be minimized by following our pre-treatment instructions.

Results

Results are usually visible immediately after the treatment, and the effects can last from several months to up to two years, depending on the type of filler used.
